This page explains how to delete your StockNewsroom account (app “StockNewsroom”, com.stocknewsroom.app) and the associated data.
How to request deletion
Send an email to delete@stocknewsroom.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the Google account you signed in with (or include your in-app display name). We process requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
Your account and all linked data — display name, bio, birthday/age, profile photo, your comments and chat messages, watchlist, karma points and follow relationships.
What may be retained
Limited security and operational logs and routine backups may persist for up to 90 days, after which they are permanently deleted. Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you may be retained.
Using the app without an account
You can also use the app without an account; in that case only a device identifier is used and no personal account data is stored.
