StockNewsroom operates the StockNewsroom mobile app. This policy explains what data we process.
Data we collect
- If you sign in with Google (optional): email, display name and profile photo (via Firebase Authentication) for your community profile.
- Profile data you provide (optional): display name, bio, birthday and profile photo.
- Content you create: comments, chat messages, watchlist entries and karma.
- Technical identifiers: a device identifier and push token (for notifications) and an advertising identifier.
How we use it
To provide the app and its community features, send notifications you have opted into, and show advertising.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. The advertising identifier is shared with Google AdMob to deliver ads. Authentication and messaging are processed by Google Firebase as our service provider. Market data and articles come from our own servers.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Your choices & deletion
You can use the app without an account. To delete your account and associated data, see Account & Data Deletion or email delete@stocknewsroom.com. For general questions: snap@stocknewsroom.com.
Children
This app is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children.
