Brent Crude (Brent Blend) is a major light, sweet crude oil from the North Sea that serves as the leading global price benchmark for roughly two-thirds of the world's internationally traded crude. It trades as a futures contract on ICE Futures Europe and, alongside WTI, is one of the two most important oil reference prices. Brent prices are highly sensitive to geopolitical events, OPEC+ supply decisions and global demand.
